easy read

Nice to meet the Brownlees.
Down to earth very hard workers who reached the top by working harder when others went inside.
No great surprises and relatively simple language but its not rocket science, its sport.
Would have liked more detail on their training specifics.

As quick a read as a sprint triathlon. Tells the story of how they got to the Olympic podium but not too much of any weight or substance. Expensive for what it is.

If you are a Brownlee fan you will like the book

I thought the book was ok. I found it interesting how two brothers trained together and pushed each other, but didn't think it merited a book to discuss it. I was at the London Olympics and in the bleachers watching the race, so maybe the excitement of being there in person jaded my view of the book. I agree that they were born into a great situation and I admire that they took advantage of it but not sure the book stayed on that. If you are a Brownlee fan you will enjoy it. They are great athletes either way if not good authors.
