Seminal work on Quality Assurance in the Health Care field

If you do not know who Avedis Donabedian is, go google him. However, this is the best book on quality assurance that I have read. It gets right to the point without bogging down in academic jargon. Readers might also want to appreciate that Donabedian was so devoted to this subject that he chose to write this book during the last weeks of his life, knowing that they were the last weeks of his life.
